Summary: When we first arrived the home was 80 inside, it was still Summer in CO. It just so happened to be one of the warmest weeks to visit the area. Overall the home was cute and clean, (the only thing really with cleanliness was that there was previously used left over espresso grounds left in the machine) everything else was clean. We are from Florida & ignorant to how things work up north but it would have been helpful for the description to state that there is no a/c. The two standup units were not on when we got there & we’re not sufficient for that size home during the hotter season. I would have liked to be more prepared but the description led us to believe there was anctual air conditioning. Upstairs we noticed a burning smell & turned out there was a furnace on that was melting the plastic corner of the bed that was pushed up against it. This was possibly a contributor to the heat in the house as well. Probably an accident from the previous renter but important to double check for safety reasons more than anything. There were pos-its above a fake Honeywell thermostat that belongs to a central AC system saying it controlled the bedroom and bathroom but there wasn’t actually an ac system so that was a bit confusing. Additionally, both showers were tricky to operate. We adjusted as the days went on & it turned out to be a decent stay. The property owner was a little difficult to reach at first but once we connected he was attentive to our communications.
