Summary: The staff was friendly enough but there were some language barriers that made communication difficult at times. The breakfast was a mix of bagels, cereal, muffins, apples, yogurt, juice, tea, and coffee. It wasn't a terrible breakfast for something quick but the toaster is broken on one side and did not appear to have been recently cleaned. We had two rooms, neither had evidence of bedbugs or roaches, but there were stains on the walls that could be addressed and the pictures, headboards, and shelves should be dusted and cleaned more frequently. One room had an odd odor like sweaty and musty. The ceiling tiles in the bathroom was stained in many places and crumbling in others. One bathroom did not have water pressure for the shower and the water did not get hot when turned to hot. The wall around the air conditioner in one of the rooms was crumbling around it and the air conditioner could not be changed from a temp of 64 degrees. The pool is small and a little on the cool side but was okay for a few kids to play around in. There was also a dog on the property that the staff was letting outside through a side door, the dog was a husky, the dog is not friendly according to staff and lunged at myself and another member of our family on multiple occasions. I absolutely love dogs and was not intimidated, but the person walking the dog stated that it was not friendly and would bite. The staff member walking the dog was having a difficult time controlling the dog.
