Welcome to Maurice au Mer, our spacious 2,800-square-foot beach home in Prominence on 30A. With three king bedrooms, a twin bedroom, a private bunk room and 4½ baths, the home comfortably sleeps up to 11 and is especially well suited for two families, multiple couples or a multigenerational beach vacation.
What makes Maurice au Mer different? Plenty of room to spread out, three king bedrooms, an oversized screened porch, six bikes, a fully stocked kitchen, resort-style pools and a quiet corner location — all in the heart of 30A.
And yes — we're dog friendly, so your four-legged family member can come to the beach too!
THE HOUSE
Unlike many vacation homes designed simply to maximize the number of guests they can sleep, Maurice au Mer was designed for everyone to be comfortable.
The open-concept main living area provides plenty of space for the whole group to gather, whether you're cooking dinner, watching a movie or relaxing after a day at the beach.
The kitchen is generously equipped for guests who actually like to cook, with plenty of room for preparing family meals. The dining and living spaces offer seating for a large group without feeling crowded.
One of our guests' favorite spaces is the approximately 350-square-foot screened porch, with both dining and comfortable lounge seating. It's the perfect spot for morning coffee, family dinners, cocktails or winding down at the end of the day.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
One of the things that makes our home particularly comfortable for families and groups is having three king bedrooms.

PERFECT FOR TWO FAMILIES
Maurice au Mer is a great setup for families traveling together. Three king bedrooms give the adults comfortable accommodations, while the twin bedroom and bunk room give the kids their own spaces.
At approximately 2,800 square feet, there's room to enjoy being together without everyone feeling like they're on top of one another.
THE SCREENED PORCH
If you ask our returning guests about their favorite part of the house, don't be surprised if they say the porch.
Our oversized screened porch offers approximately 350 square feet of additional living space with areas for both dining and relaxing. It's one of our favorite places in the house and a wonderful way to enjoy 30A's beautiful weather.
6 BIKES INCLUDED
Six bikes are provided for our guests, making it easy to explore the 30A bike path, ride to The Big Chill or simply cruise around Prominence.
That's also six bike rentals you don't have to pay for during your stay.
Golf carts are not included with the home, but rentals are available through the neighborhood's authorized provider if you'd like one during your vacation.
PROMINENCE & THE BIG CHILL
Maurice au Mer is located on a quiet corner lot in Prominence, one of 30A's most popular communities.
We're just three blocks behind The Big Chill, where you'll find casual dining, drinks, entertainment and a large outdoor gathering area that's especially fun for families.
Our central 30A location puts you between the communities of Seagrove/Seaside/WaterColor to the west and Alys Beach/Seacrest/Rosemary Beach to the east, making it easy to explore everything 30A has to offer.
POOLS
Guests have access to Prominence's beautiful resort-style community pools, perfect for the days when you want a break from the sand or an afternoon swim after the beach. The 5,000 square foot resort-style pool is on the north side of the neighborhood (a less than 10-minute walk), and the smaller heated pool is on the south side only two blocks away.
THE BEACH
Beautiful Deer Lake State Park is nearby and offers one of our favorite beach experiences on 30A. A scenic boardwalk crosses the protected coastal dunes before reaching the Gulf — and the beach here is often less crowded than accesses closer to the larger beach communities.
Additional public beach access is also available nearby, giving you options depending on how you'd like to spend your beach day.
DOG FRIENDLY
We know a beach vacation is even better when you don't have to leave a member of the family behind.
Maurice au Mer welcomes dogs subject to our pet policies and applicable pet fee. Please include your dog when making your reservation so we can make sure everything is arranged before arrival.
