This traditional Southern home is over 120 years old & is on the US Historic Registry of Historic Places. It has been updated to bring out its historic beauty and grand details. The house is over 4,000 square feet with two stories and porches on both levels, both front and back, to take advantage of those Southern breezes. Included with all rentals are 9 outside tables, 50 outside chairs, and use of the detached Carriage House. The kitchen has all modern appliances and granite counter tops. There is original hardwood and fireplace tilework throughout. The first floor offers a gathering hall, a dining room, a round living room, 2 half baths, laundry room and study. Each room on the first floor has a table and chairs seating 6-8. Additional seating is found within each room, allowing guests to relax on antique sofas. Take the original grand staircase passed the chandelier over the landing to the second floor. The second floor has a full bath and 3 bedrooms. The Bridal Suite, guest room and dressing room are located on the second floor. The bridal suite includes a king size bed and satin chaise lounge. The guest room includes 2 double beds- perfect for out of town guests. Both levels have wide halls for gathering and mingling. Large screened back porch . The 2 acre lot provides ample outside areas for weddings, receptions, rehearsal parties or reunions, as well. There is available handicap parking and ramp at the rear entrance. Parking for guests is available at the rear of the property.
